About Bull Stock Media
My name is Andy Watson and I have been in the rodeo photography business since 1990. I have been, and am currently, the official photographer for the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) since 1996. My wife, Jacey, and I also run our company, Bull Stock Media, which is the stock photo agency for the PBR . This endeavor has taken a lot of time away from chasing rodeos up and down the road, but I still am able to find time to cover a few of the bigger rodeos.
I cut my "photography" teeth on the sport of rodeo. While trying to ride bareback horses, I quickly found out that the photography business was going to pay way more bills than riding at the level I was at, and quickly hung up my riggin for the camera. Photography has allowed me to stay in the sport at a level much higher than riding and it has been a great journey. I have been able to cover the greatest events from Pendleton to Cheyenne, NFR to the PBR World Finals, as well as the RFD-TV The American Rodeo.
When I'm not in a rodeo arena, you can find me spending time in the great outdoor state of Montana fly fishing or hunting. I am slowly starting to pick up my camera and capture the beauty I am surrounded by, and hope to start sharing those images along side my rodeo shots. Although it is nice to get out from behind a camera from time to time, I do enjoy looking at the images captured while outdoors.
I have rodeo photos dating back to 1990 and can't possibly scan and host them all on one site, so if you know of any events that I may have been at, and you are interested in a photo, please fill out our our contact form and we can look through the archive and see what we can find.
We hope that we can always be a part of capturing your memories for a lifetime!
